Join Gil Mata, professional dancer, for our 50-minute hip hop dance class! Class will consist of a 15 minute cardio warm-up, a 10 minute stretch, hip hop groove progressions across the floor to improve coordination and learn basic skills, and learn a hip hop combination until the end of class. This class is for any level of fitness/dance. Try something new. Laugh a little. Get out of your comfort zone. Crush the dance floor.

Performance Indoor Build Up Training Rides

The outdoor cycling season for 2018 will be here before you know it! SPIRE Performance Build up rides are your ticket to improved endurance success for your health and next level of fitness! If you are an avid biker or just want the challenge of riding long, swing in on Sundays for these progressive rides.

The format is road based with time block intervals, climbs, surges and sprints. The program begins with a 90 minute ride the first week, then finishing with 3 hours by the 4th week to complete the program. The rides are energetic, motivational and social all at the same time. Turn & Burn it!

Adopt A Family Holiday Ride

Join SPIRE and The Journey House as we team together to adopt local families this holiday season! Melissa and Allison are going to take your through 60-minutes of sweat drenching moves, all for a good cause! In lieu of traditional class payments, we ask you either bring a cash donation or a gift from our families wish lists to gain entrance to class (suggested value $25+). Stick around after class for a little hot coco and social hour at the studio! Celebrate the holidays with us!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • SPIRE will place a holiday tree at the studio with gift tags hanging from the tree. Each tag will included a requested gift, child's name, age, and gender.  
  • Select a gift tag (or two or three!) to purchase for the families. 
  • All gifts should be dropped off at the studio by December 15th (NO LATER!!), wrapped, with the gift tags on the outside of the item. 
  • All cash donations from the event will be used to purchase any gifts that were not selected and extra goodies. 

Can't attend the ride? You can still participate! All gifts need to be dropped off at the studio by December 15th to be collected. Please include gift tags with item.

Start September strong with our SPIRE Squad Challenge! Beginning September 5th, you will have 26 days to attend 17 of our 19 instructors' classes. Mix it up! Be Adventurous! Begin September with strong routine that will keep you going all fall long!

Complete the challenge and receive a SPIRE Snapback hat on us! Pick up your challenge card at the front desk starting the week of August 28th. Make sure to get your card stamped at the desk after every new instructor's class you attend. Once your card is complete return it back to the front desk. We will be raffling off a five class pack, free admission to all upcoming 90-minute rides, FREE two night stay and the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, and other goodies to those that completed the challenge.

RIDE + ROW TO INSPIRE: ADOPT A FAMILY

Mark your calendars for our Ride + Row to inSPIRE on December 8th. We have teamed up with Journey House, a local center that helps to increase education, reduce crime, and empower local families. SPIRE is participating in the Adopt A Family program by sponsoring two Milwaukee families. We want to spread the holiday cheer by providing gifts for our families. However, we can't do it alone. We need your help!

How can you help?                      

  1. Choose an ornament from the tree in the SPIRE lobby or email us. The ornaments have different requested gifts from our two families. Choose a gift or two that you are willing to go out and purchase.
  2. Make a monetary donation at SPIRE Fitness.
  3. All gifts are due back to SPIRE by 12/8/16 with the paper ornaments you picked. These gifts or monetary donations will serve as admission to the 5:15 PM & 6:15 PM Ride classes and the 6 PM Crew + TRX class on December 8th. 
  4. SPIRE will wrap all the gifts and deliver them.
  5. You helped to spread holiday joy to Milwaukee!

This November we will be hosting a Thanksgiving Regatta here at SPIRE Fitness on 11.24.16! Join us for the 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM races and start the holiday season off with a heart-racing workout. Complete the event solo and row 2,000 meters or grab a partner and row a combined 5,000 meters. The event is FREE to attend. Don't be afraid to mix and match! Row and Cycle on Thanksgiving for the best of both worlds.

In order to get you ready for the event. we’ve come up with a training schedule for the month of November. How do you start to train for the event? Join us for any of our SPIRE Crew classes before 11.24 to practice your rowing skills and participate in training drills for the event!

SPIRE is turning two! It's time to celebrate. We are celebrating two years of sweat with a two hour cycling experience! Join four of our SPIRE instructors as we take you through 120 minutes of all of your favorite choreography. Wear turquoise, orange, and gray to show your SPIRE Pride. One lucky attendee will win a free month of classes.

After class join us for cupcakes and some bubbly at the studio.

Cost: Free for monthly unlimited members.
Non-members: $30.
