LINDSEY KLEIN is a wellness advocate who is passionate about educating and empowering people to take control of their health. She believes strongly in the body’s ability to heal by giving it what it needs. She is knowledgeable and versed in cutting edge science dealing with the microbiome and mental health, supplementation, and overall natural wellness. Being a teacher and coach in many facets over the last 15 years makes Lindsey a beneficial wellness partner to help people on their mind, body, and spirit health journeys.
SARAH PHILIPP meets her clients where they are, and help them get to where they want to be (less pain, anxiety, weight, confusion about food, etc) through small and manageable steps. She specializes in emotional eating, digestive disorders, and finding mental wellness through nutrition.
Her own journey with nutrition began about 10 years ago when I was experiencing a lot of anxiety, digestive issues, and the nearly impossible task of not falling fast asleep at 2:30pm each day. She sought relief from doctors and specialists. They were able to suggest a lot of different pills and medications for symptomatic relief, but very little in the way of long term solutions. She knew the problem was dietary, and that something she was - or wasn't - eating was to blame. Finally, she found a practitioner that listened. The problem was, indeed, her diet, and very shortly after she made the necessary changes, she felt better than she had in a long, long time.
From a young age, she learned to appreciate food and the role it plays in our lives. She learned how to cook by watching her father and grandmother. She loved seeing how happy their cooking made people, and the way it brought everyone together. She can still remember the smell of Julia Child style French omelets with PLENTY of butter, one of our favorite things to cook together!
Her current love affairs (besides nutritious food, of course) consist of travelling, standup paddle boarding, her dog, Netflix and tostadas! She thinks empowerment and balance are the ultimate goals in life. When you strive for a balanced and empowered state, everything else takes care of itself.
COLLEEN BAUGHN is a licensed occupational therapist, corrective exercise specialist and nutrition coach who deeply understands the connections between nutrition, movement, and health. After struggling for years with her own diagnoses of autoimmunity and fibromyalgia, Colleen empowered herself to heal through the use of strategic dietary interventions coupled with lifestyle and mindset shifts. Once Colleen recognized the power that food, movement and lifestyle had on her health, she realized that her calling was to empower others to take control of their symptoms. She created a unique framework that helps clients identify their own unique food triggers, as well as lifestyle and mindset shifts to optimize their health and body composition. Using positive psychology, actionable and attainable weekly goals, and a non-dogmatic approach, Colleen's clients find renewed energy, improved health, as well as the weight loss they have been striving for. The goal of Colleen's approach is to empower clients to learn about themselves in order to make decisions for the long-term and get off the short-term "diet" plan; recognizing the power of progress over perfection when it comes to sustainable change.
FRANK ALVAREZ is a Health Coach, professional duathlete (run-bike-run), Pilot in the Air Force, and an adventure racer. He has participated in five dualthon world championships, numerous national championships in both sports, and in world-class events all over the world. He ate what he thought was a healthy diet. After overcoming a virial infection his perspective on health and eating was flipped upside down. It was the turning point in his life and led him down the road to become a holistic nutritionist
His journey was long and slow, but he learned about the human body and how to feed its biological demand allowing it to heal. He made the change to a whole food diet shopping at local farms and farmers markets. No more food from a box, bag, or a can. My supplement regiment grew from just a daily multivitamin to an array of immune, digestive and endocrine system enhancing herbs, vitamins, and minerals. Now he focuses on Whole Food Diets and Ketosis.
